Celebrity playlist: Social House

10 tracks to help you go a little further

Michael “Mikey” Foster and Charles “Scootie” Anderson—the duo behind Social House—sing about the glamour of the East Coast’s most prestigious beach town in their first single “Magic in the Hamptons.” However, neither Los Angeles-based artist had ever stepped foot there when they wrote the song.

The two are more familiar with their home city of Pittsburgh, where they ran in similar circles but never linked up musically. They started collaborating in Los Angeles, where they reconnected at a production house, writing and producing tracks for artists like Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor. The pair decided to join forces, and Social House—named after the WiFi at the studio—was born.

Now, they’re heading on tour with Grande, who they recently worked with on “Thank U, Next,” serving as co-writers and producers of the track that received over 100 million streams in 11 days. But don’t expect accolades to slow them down, either in their careers or with their fitness routines. “I’ve learned there is no such thing as a limit,” says Foster. “We can always go a little further, push a little harder, and last a little longer.” Below, the ten songs that help them go the distance.
