Q&A with Alexandra Richards

The DJ (and Rolling Stones scion) on running, island getaways and the sound of silence.

When you’re the daughter of a Rolling Stone, leading a cushiony life may seem customary. But for Alexandra Richards (Keith Richards' daughter), opting for a life full of modeling, DJing andmaking art entitles her as a triple threat in the entertainment industry. We caught up with the New Yorker on her workout regime, personal style and her top globe-trotting hot spots.

Her typical workout:
Running the Brooklyn Bridge and yoga.

Her style icon:
To be honest, I don't have one. I dress to my mood and surroundings – depending on how I feel a certain day.

Her ultimate healthy meal:
I love the Juice Press. They have them in all my favorite areas in NYC, so there's no excuse to not get one.

Her ultimate decadent meal:
Anything at Balthazar on Spring Street. It’s great for every occasion.

Her latest obsession:
The Drive soundtrack.

Her all-time favorite city:
It changes a lot, but I have to say my new one is Buenos Aries. I was just down there DJing. It's so beautiful and a quick plane ride to the beaches.

What totally relaxes her:
Hot baths with Epsom salt, or going to a spa for a steam and sauna. I love a good massage and getting nails done at Spazio on Mott Street with girlfriends to catch up.

What's on her workout playlist:
Typical upbeat dance music, but I find I run a lot longer when I'm not listening to anything but my breath. I like the quiet.

Her best vacation ever:
I love Turks and Caicos. It’s a place for relaxation and family time.

Three things on her bucket list:
Go to Antarctica, have a house in the countryside of Italy and skydive!

The wardrobe item she can't live without:
My scarves. (I have a collection).

Her up-all-night beauty secret:
Shower, water, shot of apple cider vinegar and sleep.

The last thing she recommended to a friend:
Don't do something I wouldn't do.

Number one reason for taking care of her body:
To live and look better longer!

Message she'd send to the world. (Only catch: it has to be 140 characters or less):
Every day we need to try and be patient, kind, gentle, good, faithful, have self control, love, peace and joy with one another and to ourselves.
